In 1993 Eagle Plastics was purchased by Blackhawk Holdings, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1995 Blackhawk Holdings acquired Pacific Plastics, Inc., in Hillsboro, Oregon and Arrow Pacific Plastics in Midvale, Utah. Blackhawk Holdings then changed the corporate name to Eagle Pacific Industries, Inc.
In September 1999, Eagle Pacific acquired PWPipe from Mitsubishi Chemical of America. In July 2000 Eagle Pacific Industries, Inc. changed the company's name to PW Eagle, Inc.
In March, 2003, PW Eagle acquired Uponor ETI, and in October of 2003 merged the management operations of ETI and PWPipe into one organization operating under the name PW Eagle.
PW Eagle has emerged as the second largest PVC pipe manufacturer in the United States, the largest manufacturer in the western U.S., and the largest merchant buyer of PVC resin. PW Eagle operates manufacturing facilities in Hastings, Nebraska; Eugene, Oregon; Tacoma and Sunnyside, Washington; Cameron Park, Visalia and Perris, California; West Jordan, Utah; Conroe, Texas, Columbia, Missouri, and Buckhannon, West Virginia.
PW Eagle's products are used in potable water and sewage transmission, turf and agricultural irrigation, commercial and industrial plumbing, water wells, fiber optic lines, and the electronic and telecommunications industries. The Company's products are primarily distributed throughout North America, including Hawaii, Alaska, and selected foreign countries. |
